The President of CERD, Dr. Nada Oweijane, and the President of Balamand University , Dr. Elie Adib Salem signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the aim of reinforcing the cooperation and partnership between the two parties on educational affairs  within their respective  mandates and  general goals.

In order to meet this objective, a preliminary meeting was held between Dr. Nadim Karam,Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences  and Vice President for Health Affairs and Community Programs and CERD lawyer Ms. Jacqueline Massoud whereby methods regarding promoting educational issues that will contribute to developing the educational sector in Lebanon were discussed.
