Towards the end of 2016, The Documentation and Design Unit at the Center for Educational Research and Development (CERD) implemented the Koha open source in order to manage the libraries of the Center and its teacher training centers throughout Lebanon. Consequently, the libraries' catalogs are available on the Internet by providing an advanced and modern search engine which is available to teachers and researchers.  This enables the latter to access the sources of information and contents of libraries belonging to the Center.

The R4R project, funded by the World Bank and implemented by the Lebanese Commission for Educational Sciences, has recently added to the system approximately 2000 bibliographies which include researches, studies, articles, books and university thesis on educational matters. These records   include various fields of specialization   with different titles, summaries, key words in (Arabic, English and French) as well as links to access information quickly and accurately.
