The President of the Center for Educational Research and Development (CERD), Dr. Nada Oweijane, and the President of the Educational Association for the Development Teaching Skills and Educational Programs, represented by Mrs. Karol Latif Hassoun, signed a memorandum of understanding which seeks to develop teaching skills and educational programs and to design modern methods for students with learning difficulties.

The co-founder and university Professor Dr. Rabih Hassoun and the general coordinator of the association and the Head of the digital platform Mr. Marulan Tazzanius represented the association whereas Mrs. Rana Abdallah, the coordinator of the Joint Academic Department and Mr. Bassam Issa, the Head of the Technical Unit, represented the CERD.

This agreement comes within the framework of attempting to strengthen cooperation and partnership between the two parties in educational affairs; each party within its fields and core functions for using Information and Communication Technology and modern programs, developing educational strategies and methods in Lebanon for students with educational difficulties through the use of modern educational international methods, curricula and programs, as well as the use of electronic and technological means, and the raise of the performance of  students in a way that is compatible with the content of educational curricula and the operative regulations in Lebanon.
