The president of CERD, Dr. Nada Oweijane held a meeting with the Union of CERD employees headed by Mr. Zakhia Farhat with the administrative body of the Union, the administration director, Ms. Yolla Hneiny, and the attorney of CERD Ms. Jacqueline Massoud.

The Union of CERD employees expressed their gratitude to the president of CERD for the 15% raise on salaries for employees by contract and the amendment in wages of day laborers eliminating wages and salary’s difference in the same job category. The Union of CERD, thus employees also thanked His Excellency, Minister of Education and Higher Education, Mr. Elias Bou Saab for his approval on the raise that has become active which created an atmosphere of comfort and fairness among CERD staff members.

Dr. Oweijane claimed that she will strive to activate work at CERD through launching workshops about developing and updating the curricula to cope with the interactive digital era.    Dr. Oweijane also congratulated all CERD staff of all categories for the salary raise and viewed the staff demands promising to deal with all issues according to the available financial capability urging all to work effectively for the sake of education and the new generation in Lebanon.
