The Center for Educational Research and Development organized the "National Heritage Day" at Dar-Louis Abu Sharaf, Jounieh. Around 140 students from the first, fourth and seventh grades of basic education attended the event, accompanied by 25 educators and administrators from 6 public and private schools from different regions and governorates in Lebanon.
The day started with displaying a scientific overview in which the students learned about the Lebanese heritage and all its elements. The students then were assigned various cultural and artistic activities in relation, which they presented later during the day.
The students' works included artistic and entertainment areas such as dances, Dabkeh, traditional songs and others. The students interacted with the various workshops in a positive and lively manner.
A shield of acknowledgment and appreciation was handed over to the President of CRDP for the efforts made in the framework of heritage preservation, being a basis for preserving national identity.
