Under the Supervision of the President of the Center for Educational Research and Development Dr. Nada OWEIJANE, the Educational Installations and Material Support Bureau with the coordination of the In-Service and Pre-Service Training Bureau have organized a seven-day-workshop to train the trainers on robotics.
This TOT was coached by Mr. Jean Merhi, an expert in Robotics, to 13 trainers and consisted of viable drills based on advanced theories in this field.
Dr. OWEIJANE emphasized that the curricula development and modernization operation, include all forms of advancements in technology. She also pointed out that Robotics is a priority in the hi-tech worldwide expositions, besides providing job opportunities to so many; additionally, the students of Lebanon are outstandingly reaching high levels in this field the reason why the educational system is working on ground-forcing the educational staff members in the direction of disseminating Robotics all around the public schools for the sake of the potentially promising students in that field.
Dr. OWEIJANE has also inquired from the In-Service and Pre-Service Training Bureau to spread the Robotics courses over the largest number of trainers and include it in the ongoing training project effective this year, and going to the regional strategies for the academic year 2019-2020.
